• Download Redsnow for Mac or Windows
• micro-USB cable
• Backup your iDevice in iTunes for safety

Step 1: Start Redsnow

Step 2: Click on “Extras” and then choose the “Select IPSW” option

Step 3: Browse the IPSW file downloaded ( iOS 5.1 ) when prompted and select it
